The publisher’s hope was that this new edition would be the clear, easy-to-use, comprehensive reference of choice for students.

target audience Retail book buyers.

concept design issues The title, “Fall Releases” is drawn from the “New Release” aspect of film production. The intent was to create a connection between the fanfare of a movie release and the release of the new 2006 titles. Also, the client’s preference was to showcase important A-list titles on the cover of the catalogue.

concept design issues The goal was to redesign the cover to emphasize its Canadian content and to use typography and imagery to accurately reflect the university level of the text. Flowing water in a Canadian setting represents the ever-changing condition of the accounting practice.
